More fall out from special government employee, Elon Musk’s Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE). Acting SS Commissioner, Michelle King, has resigned in protest of access being denied DOGE. President Trump has named Leland Dudek, a long-term SS employee, as Acting Commissioner. Frank Bisigano has been nominated by the President to be permanent Commissioner.

REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES ADDRESS SS IN 3RD DEBATE
In the third republican presidential debate, held recently in Miami, FL, candidates offered varying viewpoints on how to address the long term viability of the Social Security trust funds.
Former governors, Chris Christie & Nikki Haley are supporting a means test for eligibility for retirement benefits. Florida governor, Ron DeSantis & South Carolina senator, Tim Scott said raising the retirement age would not be a priority of their administration.
