SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS UP 1.5% FOR 2014
On October 30, 2013 the Social Security Administration announced a 1.5% Cost of living adjustment (COLA) for recipients of Social Security disability, retirement and SSI benefits. This would mean an additional $15 per month for a person currently receiving $1,000 per month. SSI recipients will receive $721 per month.
